More than 65,000 Bergen County residents face food insecurity each and every day, seeking assistance from food banks and other organizations to meet their daily needs.

Since 2016 the De Novo Harriers have hosted the Run Two End Hunger, a two-mile race and food drive each Spring in an effort to help those in need. The proceeds from this event and the food collected are donated to the Center for Food Action, an 501c(3) non-profit organization that provides services to members of the Bergen County community in need.

The event takes place in the Rochelle Park Area of the Saddle River Park System.
